There is no doubt about it, hard work and passion are the ultimate keys to succeeding in life. While the many ‘overnight’ success stories seem to send the message that there is some secret or shortcut that’s not the reality.
The secret is:
Lazy people are soon poor;
hard workers get rich. - Proverbs 10:4 (NLT)
So the big question is: do you have enough drive to make it? Are you a go getter or are you just a dreamer?
- It isn’t easy to get up every morning and do something towards your dream. It’s easier just to talk about your dream.
- It isn’t easy to get over the disappointment of a failure. It’s easier just to quit.
- It isn’t easy to get out and meet people. It’s easier just to sit on the internet.
- It isn’t easy to follow a plan. It’s easier just to make a plan.
- It isn’t easy to overcome the critics. It’s easier to listen to them.
You have to work hard to succeed. Developing the traits that make you successful is not easy.
