I spent several days looking for a replacement part for our shower. The knob that controls the volume of water broke off mid shower and I needed to use a set of pliers to turn off the water.
That was the easy part.
I spent about 20 minutes looking through the plumbing repair parts at Canadian Tire. I gazed at the faucet knobs in Home Depot for almost half an hour before finally selecting the one I thought would work.
It didn’t.
I returned it and spend another portion of time carefully examining each option with no success. I checked the parts at Rona. I even asked one of the customer service reps there. Unfortunately I still couldn’t manage to get my hands on a replacement part.
Frustrated!
I talked to the maintenance guy at our strata. He thought he might be able to find one in the spare part bin up on the third floor. Could I give him the old one? I went back upstairs to retrieve the old piece but then I couldn’t find the maintenance guy.
Even more frustration!
On a whim, I stopped at Andrew Sheret and  presented my broken shower handle to the nice young lady at reception. She looked quickly at the part and asked me to wait a moment while she went to the back. 30 seconds later she handed me a brand new perfect not broken replica of my shower handle.
30 seconds!
Where you look makes ALL the difference!
Then he (Jesus) said, Throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you’ll get some. So they did, and they couldn’t haul in the net because there were so many fish in it. John 21:6 (NLT)
