You Got Talent! But You Already Knew That, Right?

Jonathan-C PhillipsJonathan-C Phillips is an enthusiastic musician entrepreneur and very wise young man. He shares his wisdom at SmartWealthyRich.com and soon at a brand new site which you will hear about soon. I’m really thrilled to have him join us today at daveolson.ca. Oh yeah… he’s a Canadien too so that makes it even better. Please welcome Jonathan-C Phillips.

Hello! Jonathan from SmartWealthyRich! Dave asked me if i’d be interested in writing a guest post on his blog. I mean, how could I refuse? As you can see I said “yes“! :)

I must tell you, this post is not the one I first wrote, because I found a video on BlogPond that I wanted to share with you guyz and galz! It is powerful, touching, moving, and I like that!

This video shows that we can accomplish great things, even if we have no idea where to start, even if we don’t know we have talent, and even if others tells us we can’t do it. This guy (his name is Paul, say Hi to Paul!) in the video may look at first, like he’s lacking a little self-conffidence. But I have a feeling he will live the great life he desires after this.

I’m a musician myself, more on the rock’n'roll side of thing, and I’m no big fan of opera although I like some, but still I can see the immense talent Paul has. Please watch the video, and comment on it. I have a question for you after. :)

Ok, wasn’t that amazing? I watched this video probably 12-15 times. Dave knows I don’t watch TV, we chatted on skype on a couple of occasions, about music and other things, well you know what Dave? That video made me reconsider the whole TV thing, I missed that and had to watch it on youtube. If there was more stuff like that on TV, I’d buy one!

The passion and talent Paul has for music is incredible. I bet his co-workers at the cell phone company were pretty happy for him when he got to work the next day. I hope he will realize he has talent, and exploit it.

Dave asked us in a previous post, how we can bring generations, Boomers and GenY’ers together. Well, I say music. It is such a powerful tool.

Is There Talent In You?

Of course, everyone has some sort of talent, some are good, some are getting there, and some are gifted. But everybody has a unique talent. What is yours? Do you play music, paint, draw, write, help others, or whatever else? What is it that fuels your creativity? And most importantly, when and how have you discovered you had this talent?

This video above, definitely fuels my creativity.

By the way, Paul won the contest, Britain’s Got Talent.

Thanks Jonathan. I’m looking forward to hearing from you again.
