It's creating history and the future at the same time because the Internet has no eraser. If I need the score/highlights of the Cubs game, I don't want to sit through the entire sports broadcast (and I actually have to sit through more than that because I'm not sure when they'll broadcast the sports report). Also, I can't interact with the local news about the Cubs game. If my team wins, I want to share in the win (as though I had something to do with it...) with a community.
