It’s the end of the world as we know it!

My friend and fellow Canadien Jonathan is spreading the news that the end of the blogosphere is near. Apparently he got the news from the Urban Monk who is planning to donate $500 to charity in honour of the rumormongers. I’m all up for another charitable donation.

I’m actually not sorry to see the end of the blogosphere even though it’s been a good run. I’ve met lots of cool people. I’ve connected in ways I could have only dreamed of. I’m glad it’s over.

You see if we try to preserve the blogosphere, we’ll never accept and enjoy the newest tools for relationships. I am confident that creative, caring and conversational people will quickly find a new and better way to build great friendships, have meaningful conversations and enjoy long lasting healthy connections. And if all else fails we could go back to good old-fashioned instant messages!

Welcome to eWeb 5.3!

Cheers!

we could go back to instant messaging or we could use land/cell phones and/or send letters (hand-written that is!) using… what was it again..? ahh CanadaPost :)

Canada Post….isn’t that a subsidiary of Purolator??

hehe, isn’t it the other way around? purolator being a subsidiary of canada post? :)

  • Dave

yeah I think you might be right. truth is I don’t use either of them any more. I even have someone else pick up my mail. How lazy am I?
