I don’t have time for a full post tonight because it’s getting kind of late and we’ve had a full day. Left Newark this morning and after navigating trains and buses we found our way to the Affinia Manhattan where we are staying for the next few days.
The Affinia is located right across the street for Penn Station and the world famous Madison Square Gardens, so it’s easy to access anything in the city from here.
After arriving we walked down Broadway to Union Square so we could go to church at C3 Manhattan. However since the service didn’t start until 6:00pm and we got there around 3:00pm we had lots of time to wander around the stores near the square.
For dinner we went to the Global Galaxy Eatery. A little eclectic place tucked into a corner that looked as if it was a refurbished diner, we found the found both unusual and enjoyable. I had their Rice Tempura Tofu Steak and really enjoyed it. I even played tourist and took a picture of my food.
Hopefully I’ll have time for a more beneficial post later in the week.
